Craig & Zipporah-Engagement Shoot

The most Romantic getaway...

"Earlier this year Craig really surprised me...One day he tells me, "Pack your bags for warm weather and make sure you bring your passport!" Well...he told me 2 weeks early, so for the next 2 weeks I obsessed over where we could be going and if this would be the trip he'd pop the big question! I consulted with every friend and family member who would listen. I couldn't sleep, and I went through every drawer and shoebox I could find looking for a ring! Yep, I was willing to ruin the surprise to satisfy my own curiosities! Needless to say, I didn't find one. The morning we were to leave I was so nervous, I threw up not once, but twice before we left for the airport! Since I'll pretty much eat anything as long as it isn't moving, Craig chalked it up to my adventurous appetite. It wasn't until we got to the airport that I found out he was taking me to Jamaica, whoop, whoop! I tried my best to block out any thoughts of a proposal, and with the help of the unlimited drinks at our all-inclusive resort, I was successful in that endeavor! By the second day I'd given up all hope, and figured I may as well have a good time. After a long day of sun and the aforementioned unlimited drinks, all I wanted to do was sleep. I was refusing to go to dinner, but Craig insisted we go. I agreed, but under certain circumstances...I refused to put on any makeup, I refused to wear the dress he liked, I refused to put on heels, and I refused to have a good attitude about the whole thing! I had no idea that he planned to propose that evening. Reluctantly, we headed out, and I didn't even realize when we passed our pathway to the restaurant. Instead, Craig led me down a dark pathway to a gazebo that overlooked the water. He asked me if I've known how long we'd been together, in which I promptly replied, "4 years, 2 months, 2 weeks and 1 day!" I mean, he asked, right? After that he began to tell me how much he loved me, and that's when I blanked out...Craig went down on one knee, and I was in a daze! I didn't hear a thing he was saying! All I could think was, "OH MY GOD, HE'S PROPOSING"!!! Two men jumped out of the bushes with their cameras flashing, which scared the crap out of me. I was crying, Craig was crying (he swears something was in his eye and he wasn't really crying). It was emotional and beautiful! Oh, and my rock, affectionately known as "Pinky", is FABULOUS!"

AHHHHHHH!!! Such a beautiful story! and so happy I could share it! Enjoy the images from this beautiful two part engagement shoot. The first part was a kitchen romance held at one of the beautifully designed kitchens at Ikea located in Sunrise. The second downright gorgeous session was done at the amazing Cruz building in coconut groove. As a happy ending I also included the amazing video highlight reel of their gorgeous session. Enjoy! xoxox

Michelle & Josh-One Year Anniversary Shoot

Celebrating 1 year of marital bliss! These two couldn't be cuter! I loved working with them, although, as usual, the heat and humidity tried to get the best of us, but we didn't let it stop us from creating these gorgeous images and we had fun doing it! I want to wish Michelle & Josh nothing but the best blessings for their marriage, and may they have many more years of happiness and laughter together. Enjoy! xo

Clavette & Everton-Anniversary Shoot

I could go on and on how much I loved this couple, but I'd rather share a little about their history! Even though I am astonished that this beautiful couple hasn't taken pictures in 11 years (selfies don't count), I won't reprimand sweet Clavette and Everton, because they have made their way, even after all these years, to the front of the camera. Now read a little of how their love story as told by Clavette:

"Everton and I met on the campus of Florida Memorial University in September of 2001,we were both freshman students.  We grew very close as friends and started dating on February 14, 2004. In the summer of 2011 I casually picked out an engagement ring in Kay Jewelers while we were shopping at the mall. About a month later we visited the same mall, he went into Kay Jewelers, purchased the very same ring, got on one knee and asked me to marry him.  I was ecstatic, and said yes of course! We wasted little time and got Married on November 1, 2011 in a very small ceremony.

The photoshoot was our first time in the 11 years of being together that we took formal photos.  It means so much to us, Thanks so much Aisha!"
