Dominique & Wylan-Engagement Photoshoot

"Whatever our souls are made of...his and mine are the same..."

It is such an honor to be taking part in the milestone of these beautiful souls! Dominique and I have been acquainted since over 15 years ago! And now she is all grown up and in love! I watched these two during their session, and the love between them is so evident it was simply beautiful. The theme for this session was something I've always wanted to do, something tropical inspired to match our tropical weather here in Sunny Florida. I had the opportunity to utilize this amazing truck from an office neighbor from the delicious Popcorn Zone in Dania Beach (If you've never been there, you must check them out!). My vision came together once we had our hands on this amazing vintage truck. Once we had the inspiration and outfits together we just needed to execute. Rochelle Stewart of Niki Glam Make Up Artistry really magnified the beauty of our bashful bride, and the stylish duo Dominique & Wylan brought their best smiles for our session. We were blessed with a nice overcast morning, not too hot or humid (Praise God!). Our session turned out beautiful and I could not be happier with the result. I cannot wait to witness the union of these two. I pray God's richest blessings over their union. Join me in congratulating Dominique & Wylan!

Crystal & Andy-Engagement Shoot

"...Becoming friends with you was a choice, But falling in love with you...

I had no control over" -Sherwin G Jayoma

It literally only took one look for Andy to know Crystal was the one for him. They locked eyes in a restaurant, and Andy knew before she left, he had to get her number. No really. It was that simple, he walked up to her and his words..."I have to get your number". The rest is history as they are know embarking on their journey to being husband and wife. They were such a joy to work with, and watching the love between them reinforces that love is still alive...Even a world where hate tries to take the lead, seeing the genuine love between these two was so beautiful. Romance is not dead! Join me in congratulating this gorgeous couple! xo

Craig & Zipporah-Engagement Shoot

The most Romantic getaway...

"Earlier this year Craig really surprised me...One day he tells me, "Pack your bags for warm weather and make sure you bring your passport!" Well...he told me 2 weeks early, so for the next 2 weeks I obsessed over where we could be going and if this would be the trip he'd pop the big question! I consulted with every friend and family member who would listen. I couldn't sleep, and I went through every drawer and shoebox I could find looking for a ring! Yep, I was willing to ruin the surprise to satisfy my own curiosities! Needless to say, I didn't find one. The morning we were to leave I was so nervous, I threw up not once, but twice before we left for the airport! Since I'll pretty much eat anything as long as it isn't moving, Craig chalked it up to my adventurous appetite. It wasn't until we got to the airport that I found out he was taking me to Jamaica, whoop, whoop! I tried my best to block out any thoughts of a proposal, and with the help of the unlimited drinks at our all-inclusive resort, I was successful in that endeavor! By the second day I'd given up all hope, and figured I may as well have a good time. After a long day of sun and the aforementioned unlimited drinks, all I wanted to do was sleep. I was refusing to go to dinner, but Craig insisted we go. I agreed, but under certain circumstances...I refused to put on any makeup, I refused to wear the dress he liked, I refused to put on heels, and I refused to have a good attitude about the whole thing! I had no idea that he planned to propose that evening. Reluctantly, we headed out, and I didn't even realize when we passed our pathway to the restaurant. Instead, Craig led me down a dark pathway to a gazebo that overlooked the water. He asked me if I've known how long we'd been together, in which I promptly replied, "4 years, 2 months, 2 weeks and 1 day!" I mean, he asked, right? After that he began to tell me how much he loved me, and that's when I blanked out...Craig went down on one knee, and I was in a daze! I didn't hear a thing he was saying! All I could think was, "OH MY GOD, HE'S PROPOSING"!!! Two men jumped out of the bushes with their cameras flashing, which scared the crap out of me. I was crying, Craig was crying (he swears something was in his eye and he wasn't really crying). It was emotional and beautiful! Oh, and my rock, affectionately known as "Pinky", is FABULOUS!"

AHHHHHHH!!! Such a beautiful story! and so happy I could share it! Enjoy the images from this beautiful two part engagement shoot. The first part was a kitchen romance held at one of the beautifully designed kitchens at Ikea located in Sunrise. The second downright gorgeous session was done at the amazing Cruz building in coconut groove. As a happy ending I also included the amazing video highlight reel of their gorgeous session. Enjoy! xoxox
