Parenthood can be the scariest most beautiful thing to enter into. I myself welcomed the sweetest little boy into our family what seems like just yesterday. He recently turned one and I feel like the time literally has flown by. I remember carrying him in my womb and just praying over him and the anticipation of his arrival. Witnessing the love of parents like Chantae and Odane is so heat warming, it reminds me of that warm feeling of life growing inside you. Join me in congratulating this beautiful family. xo

A Child at play, is one of the most peaceful and innocent moments to take in. Don't get me wrong while they play, run, and jump off walls, it can get chaotic (Sounds like I'm contradicting myself already), but the peace and innocence I'm talking about is how genuine they are while playing. They live every second in the now...not caring about what the next moment brings. While they dream their dreams and let their imagination go wild, it is so peaceful to sit back and watch as everything around them stops and as they take in each creative moment. Does that make sense? Well...I love it. I loved this shoot. Watching these too little ones, interacting with each other was so beautiful. Seeing their parents behind the scenes enjoying them. *Sigh* Makes me want to start a family of my own...I'll leave you on that note to enjoy the shoot for yourselves. So I decided to do something a little different. I had this shoot with the most adorable brother and sister duo, it would just make your heart melt! Children have the most beautiful innocence about them...Every moment so precious, every word so special , every movement....ahhhh...so in other words, I decided this shoot would be better understood in black and white. I didn't want the distraction of color to take away from the simplicity of a childs life...void of the business we encounter in the world of adulthood...
