Nisha & Vladimir's shoot was so beautiful, and of course could not have happened had we not had a beautiful couple for the shoot! I loved working with these two creatives from start to finish! (I love love working with couples who can get with my creative flow!) To start, we consulted over the phone to come up with the inspiration for their shoot, from the outfits, to the location, and everything in between. Nisha contacted me on a whim and told me about her vision for a musical inspired session. She explained that while they had tried to execute their vision with another photographer, it just didn't seem to reflect the look they were trying to go for. With both having a love for music, Nisha being a singer and Vladimir a pianist, their heart was set on incorporating this into their session. When she also threw in the fact that they had a love for all things vintage, I knew exactly what we were going to do. Nisha & Vlad must have thought I was crazy when I suggested have a vintage piano brought out to a remote-like location. I could picture her in a stunning gown and Vladimir in a dapper suit standing next to the piano, but I wasn't sure if she would see my vision for their session...but she was game! (Gotta love creatives!) Now for execution, Vladimir saved the day when he figured out how to navigate this awesome piano to our beautiful location, and at that time we were set. The rest is history! I CANNOT wait to photograph the union of these kindred spirits on their special day.
